Let’s all be completely honest here; the realty model is changing. Nowadays, with the power of the internet, home-sellers can do a lot of the work that used to fall on realtors. Sellers can take their own photos, edit their own walkthrough videos, create their own listings on a network of real estate websites, market and promote those listings on social media, host their own open houses, and ultimately find a buyer. We acknowledge this, and we think it’s crazy that a seller who wants to do all (or part) of this work themselves should have to pay the same amount as a seller who wants to leave all of that work to an expert realtor. But that’s how it works in the industry.
Our model is simple; we custom tailor a plan just for you. Our team has sold over 600 (yes, hundred) homes in Alaska, so we have the expertise required to provide a premium, full-service listing package with the best rates in the state. Or, for those who want to do-it-themselves, we can step back and handle only the required legal paperwork, resulting in an astonishing low fee.
We thought it was time someone started talking about the completely outdated commission model that is commonplace in the real estate industry today. We think that there should be different fees for different amounts of value being provided by the realty team. We think you should be able to ask “what am I getting for the fee that I’m paying”. We think you should be able to ask “what if I want to do a lot of it myself, can I pay less?”. Or, “what if I don’t want to do anything, I want you to do all the work… what’s the fee for that?”
We want to be upfront with you, and give you all the accurate information so that you can make your own decision. We want you to feel comfortable.

The traditional process of selling, buying, or building a home is fragmented and inefficient; there are many separate entities involved, and each one brings with it layers of communication and it’s own holdups. The listing agent, the buying agent, the mortgage lender and the builder/contractors (if you’re building a home) all require their own paperwork, documentation, and processes. One is often waiting on the other, who’s waiting on someone else, etc.
We decided to remove these roadblocks by creating a team that works together seamlessly, and saves you money along the way. If we need a certain form sent from the mortgage company, we don’t wait on hold for days… we walk across the hall and get it done!
